Neen, als je die twee dingen delete heb je waarschijnlijk nog steeds de ungetweaked config. Als je het bestand clientregistry.blob delete in je steam mapje, je cfg map delete in je source map en dan steam restart zal alles terug standaard zijn.
FPS IMPROVEMENT COMMANDS
cl_phys_props_enable 0 — disables all the little cans and the rubbish
cl_phys_props_max 0 — sets range at which props show up
cl_ragdoll_physics_enable 0 – makes the models disappear once they are killed
cl_show_splashes 0 — no splashes, i don’t know which ones, but who cares lol
cl_smooth 0 — a little less beauty, but 5-10 more fps
fog_enable 0 — removes the fog, better fps and visability
fog_enable_water_fog 0 — removes fog again
mat_bloom 0 — disables the bloom smile smiley
mat_bumpmap 0 — removes bumpmapping, but yields a substantial fps gain
mat_clipz 0 — water wuality taken off, more fps (-dxlevel 90 -clipz 0 in command line)
mat_dxlevel — directx that css should use
mat_fastnobump 1 — faster bump mapping
mat_fastspecular 1 — faster specular mapping
mat_mipmaptextures 0 — makes textures lose their quality with distance, more fps
mat_specular 0 — removes specular lighting but may yield fps gain
mp_decals 20 __ 300 and less — how much stuff will be kept in memory like bullet holes in walls, lesser = better performance
r_avglight 0 — average lighting on objects won’t exist anymore (default 2)
r_decal_cullsize 1 — makes textures look good only when you get close, better fps
r_decals 0 — no decals, way more fps
r_eyeglintlodpixels 0 — this command and all the next ones with eye in it disable eyes!

autobuy — you just bought a weapon(s) you chose in cl_setautobuy

-dxlevel: Sets the DirectX level Source runs in.
You may find that setting this value lower than what your card can actually support to yield a performance increase. For example, a DirectX 9 card may run significantly faster in DirectX 8. Below is the recommended usage:

Valve hat die deutsche Version bei neueren Accounts teilweise “beschnitten”. Das lässt sich aber umgehen …
Dazu gibt es 2 Möglichkeiten: Die erste ist ein kleines Programm von Lexon, das einem die Handarbeit komfortabel abnimmt. Ihr könnt es bei uns downloaden, die passende Anleitung liegt bei.

Möglichkeit Nummero 2 für diejenigen, die gerne alles selber machen:
1. Steam beenden.
2. Den regfix ausführen (siehe Hinweis unten).
3. In den SteamSteamapps Ordner gehen und die Datei “Source LV.gcf” löschen.
4. In den Steam Ordner gehen und die Datei “ClientRegistry.blob” löschen.
5. Folgende CVARs müssen gesetzt sein:
violence_ablood 1
violence_hblood 1
violence_agibs 1
violence_hgibs 1
Einzutragen am Besten in die autoexec.cfg, nicht in die config.cfg, nein, auch nicht wenn sie schreibgeschützt ist, was man sowieso nicht tun sollte.
6. Den Rechner und dann Steam neu starten und einloggen.
7. Freuen
Hinweis zum “regfix”:
Rechtsklick auf den obigen Link, speichern, mit Doppelklick starten. Adminrechte sind erforderlich.

Tutorial für Counter-Strike: Source Server + Gungame+Deathmatch
Für Windows
Nachdem ich sehr viele Probleme hatte, einen vernünfitgen Counter-Strike: Source Dedicated Server mit Gungame und Deathmatch zu installieren, dachte ich, Ich mache mal ein leichtes Tutorial, damit sich alle daran erfreuen können.
Installation
1. (könnt ihr überspringen wenn ihr bereits Steam besitzt!)
1.1 Ladet euch Steam runter

1.2 Installiert es ganz normal
1.3 und erstellt euch einen Account (benötigt laufende E-Mail Adresse)
1.4 wenn ihr fertig seid, startet Steam
2. Klickt in Steam auf den Menüpunkt „Tools“ (Bild dazu:

3. Klickt auf den „Source Dedicated Server“ und installiert ihn
4. Wenn die Installation abgeschlossen ist, startet euren Server, denn durch das starten erstellt er wichtige Ordner.
(ihr müsst nur noch ein rcon-Passwort eintragen; Bild dazu:
)
5. Schließt den Server wieder.
6. Jetzt ladet euch die Datei css-gg-dm.zip runter:http://www.4players.de/cs.php/downlo…488/index.html
und speichert und entpackt sie erstmal auf dem Desktop
7. Geht in den entpackten Ordner und kopiert ALLE Dateien mit Strg+C
8. Wechselt in den Ordner vom Source Dedicated Server
(z.B.: C:\Programme\Valve\Steam\steamapps\“euersteamaccou nt“\source dedicated server)
9. Geht hier in den Ordner “cstrike” und fügt die Datein mit Strg+V ein
(Falls Meldungen auftauchen sollten, dass ihr Dateien erstzen sollt, klickt „JA,ALLE“ !!!)
10. Ladet euch nun noch die Datei Server.cfg runter, öffnet sie mit dem Editor und bearbeitet sie, wie ihr wollt: http://uploaded.to/?id=tj9u0c
11. Kopiert die Datei in das Verzeichnis eures Servers:

12. Schließt Alle Fenster und startet Steam neu, falls es während der Installation noch an war

Nun zum Spielen an sich:
Um den Freunden mitzuteilen, welche IP der Server hat, könnt ihr am besten aufwww.wieistmeineip.de nachschauen.
Damit eurer Server auch ins Internet gelangt und von außen erreichbar ist müßt ihr die Ports freigeben von eurem Server. In der Regel ist das der Port 27015. Wie ihr die Ports freischaltet, müsstet ihr selber rausfinden, weil das von Router zu Router verschieden ist…

tickrate is set by adding the -tickrate 100 (for a tickrate 100 server) in the command line start up parameters. Tickrate cannot be changed on the fly via console, HLSW or rcon, it can only be changed in the commandline and the server must be restarted for the change to take effect.
